Sorry Dusty, you’ll just never convert me.
Why I love my Fiesta sedan: because it’s cute. It’s the perfect size for my needs. I can haul everything I need it to, and it fits anywhere. It’s zippy in Texas traffic filled with bro trucks. It’s fuel efficient. It’s affordable. It’s very photogenic. It’s really fun to drive. It’s mine.

I shoved a christmas tree through my coupe one time. Let’s just say there are still pine needles in my trunk to this day.

Those didn't come stock, though. There after market mods. Each one adds +5HP. ^_^

Don’t know why but the proportions just always seemed a little off to me with the sedan version. With that said though the Fiesta isn’t my cup of tea at all. Felt too tiny for me. The Honda Fit on the other hand... that’s my baby.
That first shot is definitely stunning though and sedans have their place in the world. Also sedans can keep the stinky smells out if you have something in the trunk like work boots and what not. Also it can keep people out of your business trying to see what you have in your trunk. And not all hatches are automatically greater than their sedan counterparts especially in looks case-in-point.
Would you rather have this
or this

See, this is the true nature of Oppo.
I may not be a fan of your car, but I appreciate that you are. The love an owner feels for their car, regardless of what it is, is something that should be celebrated.
Drove a rental 2014 Focus hatch through one of the biggest rainstorms I’ve even experienced and out the other side. The storm was something like 100km wide. But the little Ford got me through it, and so I’ll always have a soft spot for it (one reason to prefer a hatch, perhaps, is the rear wiper which certainly came in handy). For a compact car, it felt relatively planted and solid. Does handle well, though not as nimble as the lighter Fiesta.
Prefer its looks in hatchback form, and I really can’t stand modern Ford car interiors. The steering wheel is awkward for 9-and-3 driving, I find. The Sync is up there with Windows ME in terms of Microsoft’s failures. Personally I wouldn’t buy one, but that you did, and love it, is all that really matters.

I drive a hatch one. Only problem is no room for the front passenger with the car seat in the back but that doesn’t matter its just me 90% of the time. Did great through Boston’s snowpocolypse this year with some snow tires on. Tiny car but great for traffic and parking is a breeze.

First time I popped the hood I thought so, too. But I really like it. Can't think of another car that has a honeycomb design like that.

Yeah. Passenger space is tight, but it's plenty roomy if all you have are a driver and one front seat passenger. It's served me pretty well for the last 2.5 years. :)
